  • Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio but a bit of a nomad. Moving around has allowed me to work in hair education, leading young hairstylists in fundamental and timeless techniques, becoming a well rounded hairdresser behind the chair. There is no better feeling then connecting with my clients creatively and making some beautiful.

    He left Los Angeles to pursue a BFA at the School of Visual Arts and has been in NYC ever since.

    He’s dual-licensed in barbering and cosmetology, and has received continuing education at Vidal Sassoon, Bumble and Bumble, and Schorem Barber.

    He’s your go-to for wash and wear looks, fades, and great conversation.

  • Jess (she/her) is our Faux Locs & Locs specialist. She started her own locs 4 years ago and is now joining the Hairari team.

With 15+ years of experience, she’s your go-to for makeovers, classic barber cuts, thinning hair, mullets, shags, long or short hair for any gender-expression, curly hair, difficult-to-tame hair, creative cuts, pixie cuts, and kids cuts. Basically, she does everything but blowouts!

    Casper (he/him) enjoys doing shags, textured bobs, mullets, mods and any scissor cuts. Originally born and raised in central Alaska, Casper views haircutting as one of his many creative outlets. He developed his meticulous approach to haircutting at the Sassoon Academy in London. After finding immediate success behind-the-chair, he decided to take his career to NYC. Outside of the salon, you can find him riding his motorcycle or attending music shows.

  • Hi, I’m Julia and have been a licensed stylist since 2012.

    I enjoys shags, mullets, lived in haircuts that air dry perfectly, bobs, mod cuts, short cuts, classic cuts, gender affirming cuts, and big makeovers.

    When I’m not in the salon, I’m either hanging out with my 16 year old cat, Pooter, or doing one of my many hobbies. I spend a lot of time antiquing for oddities, working on my own art, watching horror movies, rollerskating, vinyl and vintage clothes shopping, or going to shows.

    When booking appointments please bring inspiration photos. If you’re unsure of what you want, please book a consultation on top of the cut, that way we have enough time to detail and personalize your new look. :)
